Ole Johann Larsen was a book collector from Bergen. In addition, he had a large collection of documents, consisting mainly of letters and autographs from well-known people from many countries. His wife, Bolette Larsen, was also an avid book collector, and their collections were bequeathed to the University Library in Bergen. These French documents make up only a small part of the collection.
