Letter by “al-Shaykh” Majdhūb b. al-Ṭāhir b. al-Ṭayyib (c. 1860-1930) to ō-Ḥājj Muḥammad ʿAlī Karrār (the awlād Karrār of the Ibrāhīmāb-section of the Bishāriyīn held the niẓāra in Baʿlūk), dated 8 Ṣafar 1343: 8 Sep. 1924. The letter forms part of a collection of about 40 hand-copied letters by “al-Shaykh” b. al-Ṭāhir, all written between 1324-47: 1923-30 (i.e., the year of his death), and kept by his youngest (and only surviving) son, Muḥammad Aḥmad (b. c. 1925) in Matātēb (Gāsh delta). The letter was photographed by Albrecht Hofheinz in Matātēb al-Sarāyā, 2 March 1987.
